Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii (August 4, 2009) - Maui County Fair cashier Dancine Takahashi has announced that for the convenience of Fair-goers, pre-sale tickets will be available from August 10 to September 18 at all American Savings Bank locations on Maui and Molokai, at the Maui County Fair Administrative Office, War Memorial Gymnasium parking lot, Wailuku (Administrative hours are 10 am to 2 pm M-F. Please call prior to coming at 242-2721)

Pre-sale & Sunday Adult tickets are $4.00 ($5.00 at the gate) and child tickets (5-11 years old) are $1.00 ($2.00 at the gate). Keiki four years old and younger are admitted free. If there are groups interested in participating in selling the entrance tickets, they may contact Dancine Takahashi at 264-2687 for more information. The group is able to earn $1.00 per ticket sold.

The 87th Maui County Fair will be "Your Invitation to Fun" and held Thursday, October 1 through Sunday, October 4. The highly anticipated annual event brings the entire community together to enjoy an alcohol-free, smoke-free and drug-free family-oriented educational event with plenty of entertainment, delicious local food, and fun! This year especially, the Fair gives the people of Maui County a well-deserved break from the current economic times and provides priceless quality time for family and friends. The Maui County Fair is the primary source of funding for many of Maui's nonprofit and community organizations.
